Nursery

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,"  ~ James 1:17

 At Southernmost Baptist Church we provide a nursery for children ages newborn to 5 years of age. Our nursery is well staffed by qualified workers and is kept clean and stocked with toys! As you bring your child to the nursery you will be greeted by one of our members who will take any special instructions needed, and your child will only be returned to the parent who drops them off. Caring for children is of the utmost priority here at SBC. 

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

Our Children's ministries are growing and we are excited about the opportunities the Lord is providing for us to minister to the children of our community!

Sunday School

"And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." ~ Prov 18:24

Sunday School is an exciting time at Southernmost Baptist Church! The classes are designed to educate and encourage the listener while elevating the Saviour and His Word! The classes are structured by age and the lessons are prepared with that in mind to help enhance the understanding of Bible truths. We offer Adult, Teens, and Children's Sunday Schools.

Nursing Home Ministry

"With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding." ~ Job 12:12

Every other Monday, we hold a church service for the residents of the Palm Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. What a blessing to be able to bring some joy and the encouragement of God's Word to the residents. It is sad to know that in this busy world the elderly are forgotten and neglected. We make visits throughout the week, and during this time we have the opportunity to listen to the burdens and cares of these dear people. We pray for them and share an encouraging word to brighten their day! 

Soul-Winning Ministry

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." ~ Eph 2:10

At Southernmost Baptist Church we believe in carrying out the Great Commission! The primary mission of the church is to reach the lost with the good news of the Gospel message! We use many different methods and resources to accomplish this great task, meeting each Saturday with a team of members, going into the community with the life changing message of salvation. We are told in the Scriptures that man has a living soul and this soul will live for eternity. The question is where? Showing and telling others that they have a choice in where their soul will reside for eternity is our mission!

Jail Ministry

" And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭ ‭40‬ ‭

The Lord has given us the opportunity to bring hope and encouragement to those who are going through a difficult season of life. The love of Jesus Christ can reach the downhearted and lift them up to a life of joy and hope.
